Stephen Tonkin is an experienced entrepreneur and real estate investor with a background in construction, home improvement, and sales. Originally from New Zealand, Stephen relocated to California in 2018 to pursue his passion for real estate. After beginning his career with residential fix-and-flip projects, he transitioned into short-term rentals, where his expertise in property management and home improvement became a key asset.

 

As a managing partner of Crown HD Capital, Stephen co-founded the Airbnb JumpStart & Management company alongside Lynniah Herron, helping investors acquire and manage short-term rental properties while expanding their own portfolio. Their success in this space fueled Crown HD Capital’s evolution into commercial real estate, focusing on multifamily properties and broader investment opportunities.
